Xtreme is unmistakably one of the best Bachata groups in the genre today.
With 2008's HACIENDO HISTORIA, the New York City-based act Xtreme, consisting of Danny Meija and Steven Tejada, presents an engaging set of bachata tunes. While the R&B-leaning hit single "Shorty, Shorty" is HISTORIA's stand-out song, other romantic tracks such as "Adonde Se Fue" and "Disculpame" reveal a slightly more traditional bent for the Dominican-American duo.
